Once the UCAmI 2017 (the 11th International Conference on Ubiquitous Computing and Ambient Intelligence) has been finished, NOUSS and University of Alicante researchers, authors of different papers in this conference, have been invited to submit extended versions of their works in:
- “IEEE Ambient intelligence environments with wireless sensor networks from the point of views of big data and smart & sustainable cities, for the paper: Scheduler architecture for automatic management of maintenance jobs in large-size systems: a case study applied to smart city.
- “Journal of Sensors”, for the paper: User-Centered design of agriculture automation systems using Internet of Things paradigm.
- “Journal of Sensors”, for the paper: Classification of pathologies using a vision based feature extraction.
Ambient Intelligence Environments (http://ieeeaccess.ieee.org/special-sections/ambient-intelligence-environments-wireless-sensor-networks-point-view-big-data-smart-sustainable-cities/ ) are an exciting topic of research, which span a wide number of research and application domains among them the smart city concept. In the underlying of smart cities, big data applications are developed that support smart components to reach the required level of sustainability and improve the living standards by means of wireless sensor networks.
Sensors Journal (http://www.mdpi.com/journal/sensors) is the leading international, peer-reviewed, open access journal on the science and technology of sensors and biosensors. Sensors is published monthly online by MDPI.
